Today was a more difficult day. We woke up and were all not really feeling very well. Eli was awake at his regular time. We spent much of the morning trying to re-cuperate, and had our breakfast together. Eli seemed tired shortly after, so we put him down for a morning nap. We relaxed/slept until noon and then started thinking about lunch. We had some noodles and pizza, and prepared for the rest of the day. Hilary went down for a nap, while Eli and I went to play (soccer and running around) in the courtyard. We also went for a bit of a walk, which was good for him and expended some energy. He was ready to return to the room after a while, and we put him down for a nap. He did not sleep, but was able to rest for a while, while I went out shopping for some groceries that we needed.
At 2:45 or so, we received a call from A,B&I to go out for coffee. We went out for coffee with A,B&I and Markos and his girlfriend. It was fun, and we enjoyed drinking coffee, and eating some cupcakes. After coffee, we returned to the guesthouse, and ate some supper, and got Eli into bed.
All in all, it was not a very active day, but it was good to re-charge the batteries for the upcoming week. We are sad that we may be losing our good friends this week as it appears that they may be travelling back to Canada this week. While this is sad, it is also a sign that our time in Ethiopia is also coming to an end. While I will not guess as to when we could be travelling home on this blog, it may not be that long before we find out that timeline.
Thanks again, for your support and prayers... Please pray for us that we will be able to get some of our energy back, and that we can enjoy the rest of our time here in Ethiopia.
